Tuck Family Vacation

Dates:  August 20-27th Ports:  Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Dominican Republic, Bahamas Price:  $2740 total for cruise (includes drink package and wifi) + approx $800 for flights  San Juan (one of our favourite places on earth) St. Thomas Dominican Republic Bahamas (MSC private island - drinks and food included in this port) Pros: - You get to visit four countries (plus the U.S) - Variety of beaches, many which are top beaches in the world - You get to try a cruise with experienced cruisers which makes it easier to navigate/a less daunting process - Can cancel up to 48 hours before for a cruise credit however (a con) it has to be used by March 2023, which means I don't know when we would rebook - New ship!  Cons: - You will spend some money at the various ports (though we don't tend to spend a lot) on transportation/food/drinks - Lack of swimming pools (few small pools on ship) though the Dominican Republic port does have a pool - Gratuities not included in cruise p...

Location:  Punta Cana Rooms: 510 Price:  $1807 (Mirage Club Swim Up Suite, Adults Only) Pros: - Room is huge (two separate area, two bathrooms, bali bed by pool) - Traditional swim up rooms (connected to bigger pool) - Mirage Club perks - Adults only (has a family side as well) - 24 hour sports bar where you can get pub food Cons: - Rooms aren't modern looking - Seaweed/rough water - Kids may be in some restaurants Mirage Club Perks Review

Location: La Romana Rooms: 356 Price: $1787 (Deluxe Gardenview King) Pros: - Less/no seaweed (Caribbean side instead of Atlantic) - In a sheltered bay, ocean very calm and blue - Adults only - Top rated resort in the area - Access to family resort/waterpark if you want (they have no access to adults only side) - Free Covid-19 testing (subject to change) Cons: - Basic room - $39pp to have free accommodations if you test positive (hardly a con but the others didn't charge, so..)
